Oliver Hire is a family owned and run business.
The Oliver family has been in business for three generations. Oliver Electric Company started in 1942 in Alexandria. It continues to operate under John Oliver Jr and has recently moved to Balgowlah. In 1990 a decision was made to diversify into the hire business and Oliver Hire was started.
Oliver Hire is headed by Tim Oliver working along side John Oliver Jr. Their sister Susan Oliver is the Director of Marketing and Sales.
As well as party hire, Oliver Hire is a major hirer to the building industry. The Company hires a complete range of building equipment, scaffolding and hand and power tools. It can meet the needs of major building sites, as well as large and small orders from all types of builders, plumbers and other tradesmen.
We also supply equipment for the home handyman.
